Prologue

Honomi is a novice pearl diver girl living in the mainland.
This summer, she came visit Kugan Island, a remote isle far off the mainland.
She would have time with Chie, whom she became friends with when her parents' job took her to the mainland.
Upon arrival, she is introduced to a new friend, Kokono.
Chie and Kokono had been close since way back but Honomi had never met her.
As she learns, Kokono had been bedridden in a hospital for a long time and was able to come home only recently.
There are various places for adventure in the Island, including underwater caves and a sunken village.
What sort of memories would they have together this summer?
